My design plan is structured around a grant program that we offer in my current department (Teacher Professional Learning and Growth) for educators, the Teacher Directed Improvement Fund (TDIF).

The reason this training was developed is to eliminate confusion and inquiries flowing into the department daily.

Created a personalized learning experience for students including playlists, remediation, and enrichment.

Since cognitive learning theory and strategies are essential to the fundamentals of lifelong learning, I choose this theory to challenge and elevate asynchronous Biology learners.

Curated a game for science students learning the parts of the cell and cellular transport. The premise of this game is based on a student scenario in a high school science classroom.

This aligns with the following learning goal: “students will develop an understanding of the cell”. Instructors can use this game to test the knowledge of student’s skill with organelles and with cellular transport. Students can use this game to see if they are able to get them all correct the first time.

As technology continues to grow and develop, so does the need for cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is crucial, as it safeguards personal data from theft and loss. With education including more technology, it is essential that educators are trained in cybersecurity.

These trainings help to keep both student and staff information safe. A virtual training was created to educate high school teachers on what cybersecurity is and how to protect themselves and their students.

This training focuses on energizers from the Bob Pike Group. Energizers are a specific type of engagement strategy. Strategies are based on Bob Pike trainings I have attended focusing on facilitating to adult learners.

The purpose of this training is to improve the facilitation engagement skills of participants.

My designs are created using various creative platforms, such as: Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Miro.
